JANUARY 2012 CLASS SCHEDULE
The Quilters Cottage will be closed New Years Day! Happy Holiday!
Every Wednesday from 10am-4pm: UFO Wednesdays. Come in according to your schedule and bring your unfinished projects. Get free advice and help on any questions you may have!!!
Every Thursday from 6pm-8pm: Beginning Quilting classes available.
January 2nd (Monday) at 10:00am, January 5th (Thursday) at 5:00pm, and January 7th (Saturday) at 10:00am: BLOCK OF THE MONTH DAYS (BOM). Come in this month and we will begin a new Batik quilt this year called “Northern Stars“. (Pre-registration required.)
January 10th (Tuesday) at 10:00am: The new “Magic Squares” pattern is in and a sample is on display in the shop. Join us to learn how this pattern comes together. (Pre-registration required. A kit is available or choose your own colors.)
January 11th (Wednesday) at 10:00am and January 28th (Saturday) at 10:00am: Instructor-Virginia will be teaching a class on how to use your embroidery machine. This class will help beginners but also has techniques for the more advanced student. See our store sample. (Pre-registration required. Supply list available.)
January 14th (Saturday) at 10:00am: Come join us for “Paper Piecing” with instructor-Polly. (Pre-registration required. Supply list available.)
January 16th (Monday) at 10:00am, January 19th (Thursday) at 5:00pm, and January 21st (Saturday) at 10:00am: BLOCK OF THE MONTH DAYS (BOM) for our new quilt, “Bella Verona”. Stop in the store and sign up now. (Pre-registration required.)
January 23rd (Monday) at 10:00am: “Cosmic Stars” This class will use 2 ½ inch strips to make one of three size quilts. (Pre-registration required.) Pick up your pattern before they are sold out!
January 31st (Tuesday) at 10:00am: “Book of the Month Quilt” This class will be using the Circle of Nine book for easy piecing and easy appliqué instruction to finish the “Tuscan Picnic Quilt”. (Pre-registration required and the Circle of Nine book will be available at a 20% discount for all those who pre-register for the class.)
